About the Online Retailer Awards


The Online Retailer Awards celebrate the online presence of a retailer serving their customers through the great website experience they provide and the business performance they can claim as a result of their online activities. 

Entering the Online Retailer Awards, being judged by experts, being commended or winning, will bring real benefits to each entering company in the form of valuable PR, further enhancing their standing in today’s competitive online retail market market.

The list of Categories is not overburdened with wordy criteria. We believe in not being too prescriptive, preferring you to tell your story in your own way. All we ask is that you use the basic template of headings in your submission document. This helps the judges when comparing entries and it helps the process of marking, ensuring allocations of marks to each aspect of a submission are awarded with consistency.We look forward to receiving your entries for the 2021 Awards and wish you well with your submissions.


Key dates to remember

September 1, 2020: Call for Entries commences

February 15: Extended closing date for entries

February and March: Judging in two stages

February 25: Announcement of short-listed Finalist companies

May or June: Awards presentation, either online or at a lunch and ceremony at a socially safe venue in London
